FAQs
Q: Can I use Timeusb LiFePO4 Lithium batteries as starting batteries?
No. Timeusb LiFePO4 batteries are not designed for use as starting batteries. They are specifically intended for energy storage and do not have the Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) needed for starting applications.
For more information, please refer to the "Deep Cycle VS Starting Battery" article.
Q: What is the maximum number of Timeusb 12V deep cycle batteries 230Ah that can be connected?
Timeusb 12V battery supports versatile connections including series, parallel and serial-parallel connections. You can connect up to 4 batteries in series (4S), 4 in parallel (4P) or 16 in series-parallel connection (4P4S).
Q: How to Charge LiFePO4 lithium batttery?
1. Solar Panels:
A 300W solar panel can fully charge the battery in one day, given 4.5 hours of effective sunlight per day. Charging with ≥300W solar panels might take longer than one day due to variations in light duration and intensity.
2. Generator/Alternator:
If your alternator or generator has a DC output, you will need a DC-to-DC charger to connect the battery. For an AC output alternator or generator, use a suitable battery charger as per our recommendations. The recommended charging voltage is 14.2V - 14.6V.
3. LiFePO4 Smart Chargers:
To charge a 12V battery, a 14.6V battery charger is recommended. The recommended charging voltage is 14.2V - 14.6V.
